We are making the unusual decision to release our 2016 vintage ahead of the 2015, which is still resting in the cellar. Of the two vintages, the '16 is softer and more perfumed, perhaps a tad riper at harvest. But like all of our Pinot Noirs, this is a subtle, not a flashy wine, with a floral nose and slight earth tone underneath the elegant fruit. Hailing from the cool Sonoma Coast, this wine was fermented using 33% whole cluster and aged in neutral oak puncheons for 18 months prior to bottling.
